June 6th, 2012 Wednesday LIP STAIN REVIEW
Summer time is here and it’s freaken hot so avoid the heavy lipsticks and sticky lip glosses and pick up a lip stain instead for it’s long wear, light weight and doesn’t rub off on anything.
Here are 3 lipstains that I own and worn over and over.
#1 FAVORITE Maybelline Super Stay 10 Hour Lip Stain that come in 10 shades for about $8. I have the shade Pink Plush and it’s not pink at all but more of a bright berry and the texture is a cream texture so it’s not sticky and it’s last the longest of all the other lip stains because it’s so pigmented and lasts about 6 hours through eating and drinking throughout the day. And the applicator is different from others, instead of a marker tip or crayon like, it’s an pointed oval shape for easy and even application and it smells like a berry smoothie.

#2 Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Balm Stains $7 in 12 bright shades are next on my list for favorite lip stains because instead of a gloss or cream texture, it’s a crayon like texture that also moisturizes your lips throughout the day. I usually reapply my chap stick quite often, however, on days that I wear this lip balm stain from Revlon, I barely reapply chap stick. The lip stain has a minty scent and lasts pretty well throughout the day. I have the shade Charm, a peachy nude, and it’s pretty bright from the color of the packaging. It has a glossy finish I would say so the texture is more sticky than other lip stains.

#3 Revlon Just Bitten Lip Stain is the first version of Revlon’s Just Bitten but this one is in a marker form and has a separate lip balm on the end that come in 15 wearable shades for about $6-$7. The only thing I like about this lipstain is the color pigmentation because unlike the first two lipstains, I think the regular Just Bitten marker lip stains have more natural and wearable colors as well as bright colors. However, the lip balm breaks very easily and melts and the marker applicator is completely ridiculous for applying a stain because the result just comes out so uneven and it actually feels like you are putting a marker against your lips which is not a good feeling with a little alcohol scent.
